ESSAY ON THE BEHAVIOR OF A MONSTER
EDUARDO HURTADO
Imposing chimera, you winged bastard. Animal of the ruin. The myth meets its enemy. Being cut up. Protector, unusual adventure. Dancer of silvery feathers, shining, snowy. Four-legged bird, masked cat, wild horse, stealthy snake. Collective voice, agile rest. The echo in the shadow, the sublime restless beast of the secret. Unbridled. Even. Everything burning. Witness of the threshold. Unfinished, wandering.
ESSAY ON THE BEHAVIOR OF A MONSTER is the first part of a larger project (Oh! Monster) in which Hurtado reflects on the constitution of a collective queer body, in collaboration with a group of dancers and performers. For this first approach he counts on the help and support of the Bajonavarro dancer Oihan Indart (Baigorri, 1995).
