NAGORE LEGARRETA ALCELAY
“EL RÍO NO ES UN LUGAR” (‘THE RIVER IS NOT A PLACE’) by Nagore Legarreta Alcelay has been selected as part of the EAS-EZE programme for the internationalisation of contemporary Basque art. The artist proposes to turn our gaze towards the river and for it to return its gaze to the current civilisation, as well as establishing a dialogue with the rivers that were once buried, giving light to landscapes hidden in the city of Buenos Aires itself.
The jury was formed by Peio Aguirre, Diana Wechsler and Bitamine.
We thank all the artists who have presented their projects in this edition!
The EAS-EZE programme is supported by the Etxepare Institute.
