Sorkuntza-Industrietako Negozio Ereduei Buruzko Tailerra
The intention of this workshop is to create or improve creative business models using different tools.
Creative industries are those that are based on one's own activity, skill and genius, and have the potential to generate wealth and jobs through the creation and exploitation of intellectual property. Today they are more important to the economy than financial services, which continue to fall.
Creation and business are compatible, so why not work on something that we like and that is useful for earning money?
The first thing we need to do is to reflect on our activity and define what we have to offer at our best. There are key points that can serve as a guide for this process: defining our objective, situating ourselves, immersing ourselves in the environment... to finally redefine our business model.
In each of the sections we will have to answer a set of questions; the cycle can be repeated as many times as necessary and it is advisable to do so in order to arrive at our new business model. At the end, we will share the conclusions in the workshop.
Each student will be able to take all the content generated in the workshop, reflected and organised in a notebook, and we hope that it will serve as a guide for the next stage.

FUTURA: herramientas para una cultura en movimiento
In the year 2021 the programme FUTURA: herramientas para una cultura en movimiento was created by the CCEBA as a scaffolding in movement to accompany, in the framework of a complex and unstable context crossed by the pandemic, cultural managers of the coordination and management teams of cultural facilities throughout the country and the region in the challenge of designing and implementing sustainable strategies for the development and loyalty of audiences, audiences and communities within their organisations.
Aimed at artistic residencies in Argentina and independent managers.
This new edition proposes, through imagination and the formulation of concrete proposals and alternatives for the future, to address new challenges from the perspective of cultural management in artistic residencies, such as the conversation between culture and sustainability, care for the planet and the environmental agenda, as well as continuing Futura's spirit of promoting the integration and associativity of different actors, generating sophisticated and sustainable cultural networks and communities.
Bitamine Faktoria will teach MODULE 4 (Wednesday 11 May 2022)
Sustainable horizon: coordinates and tools for cultural projects from an inclusive perspective.
By Helga Massetani Piemonte- Bitamine Faktoria (Spain)
The MODULE presents a series of urgent themes to be taken into account in our nearest horizon to be reflected in all our cultural projects. Such is the case of sustainability, inclusion and gender perspective. Conceived and designed from a practical dynamic, the topics will be approached from case studies, both our own and from other structures, and finally, a practical joint work will be proposed on the design of cultural projects for the "new normality".
The contents will be worked on dynamically through case studies, practical examples and small exercises. These will focus on the knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals and how to apply them, the detection of the carbon footprint in our sector, sustainability directly related to resources (economic, human, material). But other transversal aspects will also be highlighted, such as the gender perspective and historical memory.
Taking into account all these concepts and based on research techniques and methodologies, we will start a design process on a prototype framework project, which can be adaptable to the needs of the different disciplines and themes that the participants will deal with in the future.
Objectives:
● To introduce participants to general aspects of sustainability.
● To provide a guide for project design.
EXHIBITION "THE ART OF MANUFACTURING".
13th edition of KREA BIDASOA - Ficoba - 7th April 2022
Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creativity
The town councils of Irun and Hondarribia, through Bidasoa activa, have held the thirteenth edition of Krea Bidasoa in Ficoba. Throughout the day, a wide range of activities, workshops and spaces have been held, which have served as a meeting point for entrepreneurs, companies and other public and private organisations.
On the upper floor of Ficoba, the exhibition 'The art of manufacturing' curated by Helga Massetani Piemonte of Bitamine Faktoria has been installed. Each of the pieces on display has been created ad hoc to represent values, experiences and innovation.
As a mediation component to understand this exhibition in context, guided tours have been offered to explain the curatorial discourse as well as a tour of each of the pieces.
This exhibition invites us to reflect on our culture, but thinking of culture from the point of view of the anthropologist and historian Melville Herskovits as "the part of the environment made by people *1".
One of the defining features of culture is that it makes possible a better adaptation to the physical environment, with the use of very diverse material means and instruments that allow us to rise above the possibilities set by natural logic.
These pieces, which transmit a discourse based on the banners proclaimed by each artist, also show a commitment to improve the quality of life and a readaptation to the new urgencies demanded by our environment.
Each of the pieces on display has been created ad hoc to represent values, trajectories and innovation. An effort has been made to understand and translate the language used in the field of industry and manufacturing into the language of art, the creative process and curatorial discourse.
The authors are all those people who work day in and day out, producing the art of making.
*1 Melville Herkovits' original phrase was "the man-made part of the environment".
